The Yes Men

THE YES MEN FIX THE WORLD is a screwball true story about two gonzo political activists who, posing as top executives of giant corporations, lie their way into big business conferences and pull off the world's most outrageous pranks. This peer-to-peer special edition of the film is unique: it is preceded by an EXCLUSIVE VIDEO of the Yes Men impersonating the United States Chamber of Commerce. Because the Yes Men are being sued for this stunt, p2p is the only way that this film will get seen. Please spread the word!

From the Yes Men

"We have been impersonating people in power in order to make political points for over a decade. The Yes Men Fix the World is our second feature film. It's won a bucket of awards and accolades, but we're still broke. We are hoping that people who share it will donate some money so that we can do even more outrageous actions.

How outrageous? Outrageous enough to get us sued! Not long ago The US Chamber of Commerce took us to court for impersonating them. That is why on this special p2p version of the Yes Men Fix the World, we have included an exclusive video that the US Chamber of Commerce does not want you to see. You can only see this surprising film on the exclusive VODO p2p release.

One final note: making films takes lots of hard work. And money. We busted our asses to make this film and still owe our friends barrels of cash they loaned us. By supporting us and joining the Yes Men Labs, you not only get a membership card and an entry into the prize draw, you also help us to pay all those people back and fund future projects. We're sharing by P2P because we made this film to be watched, and with your help we'll able to carry on with what we love doing."

About the Yes Men

The Yes Men are Andy Bichlbaum and Mike Bonanno, a culture jamming activist-duo raising awareness around social problems caused by corporations. Operating under the mission statement of telling the truth and exposing lies, they practice a concept they call "identity correction", in which they impersonate entities that they dislike -- some would call it social engineering on a grand scale! From their offices in Milwaukee, they create and maintain fake websites similar to ones they intend to spoof, which have successfully lead to numerous interview, conference, and TV talk show invitations. These occasions are then used to expose, through parody and surreal humour, the dark motivations of our multinational world.

Great fun! It takes some nerve, not to mention diabolical intelligence... to pull off the elaborate pranks devised by the Yes Men.

  • At 17:46 on 30 Sep 2010

This is the year's top documentary film.

We think it is a serious matter when people willingly misrepresent themselves.

you need a torrent manger program to download the film. Utorrent is one option

Maybe you worked it out by now but, you need to go to and then you will see something different happen when you download the small 55k torrent file. It will open in the utorrent torrent program and download the film. You can read on the utorrent site, with screenshots, how to use the program effectively.
Good luck!

Yes Men Fix The World was truly incredible. A great look at how the world should act and respond to today's crisis's and events. Great work guys.

Mostly humorous, but there's a lot to be sad about, too. Consistently interesting and fantastically made. I'm going to hunt down everyone who hasn't seen it and force the movie into their brains.

The Yes Men Fix The World is truly fantastic. We need more people like Andy and Mike - the yes men, so we can have some influence on other people to help them realize that the BIG corporations are (almost literally) becoming autocratic governments and as such, are doing whatever they want. The movie is both serious and funny. It's all fun, but the points raised are serious. Great work, truly liked it very much, thank you!

I downloaded this film more than a month ago. I'd read some good reviews, but also one or two less good, so I was not so eager to watch it. I kept it, though, thankfully and I finally got around to watching it today and, honestly, I can only say it is f**king great.

The Yes Men make so many valid points during the 95 minutes of the film. Time and again, the newscasters try to put them down, describing their hoaxes as "cruel and raising false hopes", but each time the people affected say "no way, you did the right thing".

If you haven't seen this film, download and watch.

very strangely, this site is what I got generated by Delicious' own choice in support of a topic I wrote about in the category of successful online datings of girls from Botswana. It is obvious that there are things in life that I still can not understand but just take with gratitude.

I really loved this documentary.

What you guys do is showing an interesting new way of spread the word about wrong and tragic things happening...all put in a funny way.

This is simply great.

Good job

Creative and Ingenious.....both thumbs up.

Although I really enjoyed it - I think this could be improved massively.

You guys need a decent editor. This film has some long pauses and the pacing ruins the lighter comedic moments.

Also, you should give a bit more narration to how you felt after each event. For example, the Golden Skeleton prank was great...but you just left it hanging. No narration, no follow up.

Overall it is a fantastic concept that you are pulling off and even though I disagree with some of your politics I hope you continue to make movies.

Great work

I disagree. I have just watched the film and am highly impressed with the quality. I did not feel, at any point in the film, that there were any moments when things ought to have been edited or filmed in a different way. The pacing, in my opinion, was spot on.

No additional narration was necessary. It was clear how the guys felt after each hoax... they presented particularly well visually.

On the politics side, it's all a matter of perspective, but I totally agree with the whole film. I didn't expect to, expecting perhaps some very trivial and pointless pranks. However, I fully agree with all the aims of the guys. The hoaxes they pulled off to bring public attention to these issues were excellent.

One thing we both agree on: more films please.

Whatever your opinion on the organizations they are fucking with, the concept is really funny. And I found the movie really respectful of its audience. I didn't feel like being brainwashed, like I usually do when watching a politically opinionated movie. In particular when compared to the regular Michael Moore movie.
