As forces in American government and media have fueled the perception of an unavoidable war with Iran, Warring Factions is a call to (dis)arms.

An American-born Iranian breakdancer finds cultural awakening by exploring his multi-ethnic roots. Faced with dual nationality in two conflicting countries, he travels to Iran to examine the political issues first-hand while exploring his cultural identity with a group of Iranian b-boys.

By combining documentary and studio reenactments, Warring Factions looks at the blurring of world borders, and the looming threat of another war in the Middle East.

Wow, this film was incredible.
For an amateur film maker, you did a great job. This film gave a real insight into the culture and people of Iran, and really examined what goes on when the politics blur everything else out. 10/10.

awesome movie justin. I'm pakistani-american and I knew surprisingly little about Iran, but watching this movie shows me alot of similarities between Iran and Pakistan, as well as stark contrasts. Definitely an awesome job on your part to spread Irani cultural awareness and a worthwhile attempt at bridging the divide.
