"Couchsurf" takes the couchsurfing romanticism into the wild of the 25 Million inhabitant metropolis Mexico City D.F..

Maia is hosting Jonas, a young men that is going to sleep on her couch. They are not acquainted with another, only from what they have read about each other in their profiles on, an internet hospitality-platform, where strangers from all over the world are looking for adventure through hosting and being hosted. Everything goes according to plan until Ana, another couch-surfer, shows up.

This documentary-style fictionshort has been entirely filmed on location in the capital of Mexico.

I really enjoyed watching this. The way it opened was kind of hypnotic, very surreal as we watched the guy trying to find his destination. Then to get there and such a beautiful girl waiting!
It is enough to make me want to be a couchsurfer already!
Until I got to the end and 'the reveal' - Wow! Brilliant and I could kick myself here but I didn't even suspect!
Well done, thoroughly enjoyable farce!

really loved this film. really want to try couch surfing and it's good that i saw this film first. brilliant and informative.

Good short. Luckily I don't think most couchsurfing experiences are like this. After the special attention paid to it in the description, I was expecting to and would have liked to see more of Mexico City. It's nothing spectacular, but it's well done and worth the download.
