Arin Crumley @ Susan Buice

Arin Crumley has never had a girlfriend, so he goes to the place where he finds everything else; the internet. Stuck in a rut, Susan Buice waits tables hoping to become inspired by life. They decide to meet up with the pretense to only communicate through hand-written notes. They fall in love with this experiment and continue to relate solely through videos, emails, drawings and physical intimacy for the next 4 months. As their lives merge they’re taken on a roller coaster that could have only ever existed in this modern era of digital love.

A real enjoyable film.... I haven't seen a lot of indie stuff before but it has opened my eyes to what powerful and artistics things people can create without big studios!

This was such a great movie. It said everything that I have been thinking for the past 3 years about self acceptance/growth. Im new to the Indi movie culture, but this was a great introduction. Totally going to tell everyone I know about it.

I grabbed English subs from, edited them using Jubler and after a little spell checking with OOo and testing uploaded them at (I don't know dotsub well and I can't stand it when a site asks my real name just to allow me download a little file, so...)

This srt is synced with the VODO release and should be suitable for translations too.

Hope it will be useful in some way.

Congrats on breaking 190,000 downloads, it seems you'll hit 200,000 maybe by the end of the day or tomorrow.

We're preparing a nice promo that'll be featured on the frostwire screen to help you get even more downloads and donations so you can pay your production debt.

We think it's worth putting the heads of many people together to grab ideas for a really cool goal for Four Eyed Monsters and Legal File Sharing

How to get Four Eyed Monsters to hit 1 Million downloads?

If you have ideas on how to virally spread the movie we are all ears and we're willing to yell out loud our mission to get to 1 million downloads.

If we can get the power of a community like Reddit to help us achieve this goal that'd be amazing, I'm sure we could hit the goal in only a few days.

We'll try to reach out to torrent blogs like TorrentFreak and see if we can make this a campaign to get this great film in front of lots of people all over the world.

Pretty good and interesting movie, although I personally have a hard time relating to the "struggling artist" thing ;)

great movie

It's already subtitled in many languages here:

The problem is there was some footage of us speaking on camera that was added to that version of the film. The rest of the film was the exact same cut though.

So if the subtitles can be downloaded and then run through a script that offsets the time then they'll work with the HD download.

There is also this site that I'm eager to use for subtitling:

We'd love to get the film subtitled into as many languages as possible so I'm considering uploading this file that was on VODO onto youtube so that it can be loaded into where an English caption and caption and then translations can be made.

Any help or suggestions are more then welcome.
